The paper diary stopped going missing
Three therapists shared one diary at the front desk, so every Saturday walk-in meant flipping pages while the phone rang. Now each therapist has her own calendar on the front-desk tablet, a 60-minute Thai massage blocks a mat as well, and the confirmation e-mail is out before the customer leaves.

Guests book in their own language
Hotel guests arrive speaking Thai, German and English, and the front desk used to translate the treatment list by hand. The spa's public page now lists every treatment and price in one place, staff and guests work in eight languages, and a booking only lands when a therapist and a room are both free.

Month-end payroll in one afternoon
Commission, guarantees and minimums for nine therapists meant a spreadsheet rebuilt every month, and oil and herbal-compress orders guessed from memory. Now a date range per therapist produces the payout, and the stock list flags the compresses long before the shelf is empty.
